Use a damp cloth or sponge to remove dirt from everyday walks.
Mix mild soap or dish detergent with warm water and gently scrub the leash. A soft-bristled brush can help remove stuck-on debris without scratching.
For stubborn dirt, mix 1 part white vinegar with 3 parts water and wipe or briefly soak the leash. Ensure not to get this solution on the metal hardware.
Always rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove soap or vinegar residue.
Pat dry with a towel or let air dry completely before storing.
